Danube Delta Bird Photography Season in 2016

The Danube Delta is an amazing destination in Europe to photograph nature and birds. This place undoubtly has one of the richest wildlife in the whole region and Spring is one of the best times to capture this spectacle.

Sakertours is now offering 3 different kinds of photo tours in the Danube Delta for photographers.

The  so-called classic  Danube Delta and Dobrudja Tour is the most popular and covering a bigger area in order to find a greater selection of photographable species.  During such a trip you can easily photograph more than 70 species! Hides used on these tours are the special photo boat; two different drinking hides with photo glass; a special rock hide and pop-up hides/blindes.

The `newborn` Danube Delta Special photo tour is focusing only to the lakes and marshes of the Danube Delta at the end of June and July when huge numbers of Egrets, Herons and some migrants are great photo subjects. This is a great tour if you like to work longer with a preffered subjects or special lights, effects. We are using the special photo boat throughout the week.

The 3rd tour is the `Ultima Frontiera Photo Tour` to a remote part of the Danube Delta. We have this tour only once in a season, in the last week of May. This is a place where you can photograph Golden Jackals and different birds from fixed hides.

Next I would like to share with you the best moments from the past season.
