Sakertours team in 2023 has elaborated a new tour which focuses some of the winterring species in this region including Dalmatian Pelican, White-tailed Eagle, Pallas`s Gull, Great White Egret, Great Cormorant. Beside these species we have tried to capture Golden Jackals in their winter coat from a hide. Our three week long first winter season was a very nice experience and we really much enjoyed it. The first warm spell in February called the local breeders back to their breeding place.
Our short tour is primarily a photography tour but also an experience, an exploration and definitely something to remember for those who did it. Winter conditions are changing and nothing is predictable, especially weather (even less so nowadays) hence our photography subjects will be also changing continuously. On these tours we have included a few hours long night drives to find such species like Wild Cat, Long-eared Owl, Tawny Owl, Barn Owl or even a European Mink.
